In the first quarter of the 20th century, Belleville, the "Stove Capital", shipped worldwide.

  1. Stove mounters, fitters and finishers used hand tools like this stove file to transform raw castings into stoves and ranges. Donated by Harold A. Wright in memory of his father, Harold W. of Baker-Nagel Stove Works.
  2. Foundry molders used sprue cutters to make openings in sand molds that carried molten metal into the cavity during the casting process. Donated by Gary L. Meyer, Sr.
  3. Chaplets help support a sand core inside a sand mold during the pouring process. Donated by Voss Pattern.
